Nature rediscovered

How traditional and novel natural materials are used in a sustainable way

All plants, and the materials derived, carry out a carbon sequestration activity. When a bio-based material is applied to very durable products, such as interior coverings, they act as long-term storage of carbon dioxide. Recovering these materials, preventing them from rotting or burning – which would release the stored carbon back to the atmosphere – and using them to create long-lasting and precious surfaces, generates better living environments and supports CO2 reduction.
