ST Powder Coatings develops a wide range of powder coatings for metal substrates, including polyester, epoxy-polyester, epoxy, polyurethane, and silicone-based systems, designed for both aesthetic and functional applications.

Colours range from standard references (RAL, NCS, Pantone, Munsell) to custom formulations, with varying levels of gloss and surface finishes – from smooth and fine textures to wrinkled, gator, and hammertone effects. A dedicated department focuses on specialty coatings, including metallic, micaceous, fluorescent, pearlescent, transparent, and iridescent solutions. The company currently offers over 17,000 products, more than 1,000 of which are available in stock.

At The New State of Materials, ST Powder Coatings presents an installation that visually and sensorially connects different states of its “matter,” offering an interactive experience: a walk among clouds, composed of spherical and circular elements coated in a wide variety of finishes. Though all elements are white, their textures and qualities emerge and recede through the interplay with light – an immaterial yet defining component.

The journey concludes with a collaboration with KalaMitica: magnetic boards finished with ST coatings, showcasing a finished product that integrates research, innovation, design, and functionality. In this way the invisible force of magnetism and a wide range of accessories, surfaces become dynamic, fully customisable systems.
