Materially invites architects, interior designers and professionals working in retail and hospitality to discover distinctive materials for contemporary interiors and meet the people behind them. Join us for a morning of conversations and material exploration, with inspiring solutions for retail, hospitality and high-end residential projects.
As contemporary interiors embrace richer narratives and more sensory experiences, materials play an increasingly important role in shaping the atmosphere and identity of a space. Making Material explores how craftsmanship, material innovation and unexpected finishes can bring new expressions to contemporary interiors.
The event will feature the work of Japanese gold-leaf specialists Rekiseisha and French paper innovators Procédés Chénel. A selection of Italian material manufacturers will also present their solutions, including Sardinian creators of handmade rugs and textiles Mariantonia Urru, Venetian experts in enamelled metal Incalmi, and Gypsum, masters of cement and gypsum decorations.
