EGGER Group is an Austrian family-owned company founded in 1961 and specialised in the production of wood-based materials for furniture and construction. Headquartered in St. Johann in Tirol, the Group is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of particleboard, MDF, OSB, decorative panels and surface solutions, as well as flooring and structural applications.

The company operates internationally with numerous production sites and a strong commitment to sustainability, promoting the efficient and circular use of wood as a raw material.

In 2022, EGGER acquired 100% of SAIB Italia, a historic Italian manufacturer of particleboard with a production site in Caorso (Piacenza). The acquisition strengthened EGGER’s industrial presence in the Italian market, integrating manufacturing expertise and expanding its capacity in the raw and decorative panel segment for the furniture and interior design sectors.
