Novowood® is a Wood-Plastic Composite (WPC) material made up of approximately 65% wood flour, 25% HDPE, both recycled, and 10% additives . This material is utilised to produce extruded profiles for decking, cladding and louvres.
In 2021, Novowood® has achieved ReMade in Italy® – Class “A” certification, confirming the product’s Italian origin and a recycled content of at least 81.5%.
Thanks to the high quantity of real wood flour in its composition, Novowood® totally resembles genuine wood in appearance. OIT laboratory tests, conducted according to the parameters established by ISO 11357-6:2008, have determined that Novowood® has a durability of over 25 years. Upon reaching the end of its useful life, the product can be ground and extruded again up to 20 times.
