ECONYL®

ECONYL® is a regenerated nylon from post-consumer and post-industrial waste. ECONYL® Recycling process: The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible. Waste undergoes a radical regeneration process that includes the depolymerization of the material and its repolymerization. This means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as fossil-based nylon. ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into yarns and polymers to create new products for the fashion and interior industries. This nylon has the potential to be recycled infinitely. ECONYL® regenerated nylon also reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 90% compared with a material from oil.
